These are things I keep on hand so I always have something available for lunch and dinner.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 4 cups

Nothing tastes better than home made whipped cream.


  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3 T. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Chill your glass bowl or mixer bowl in the refrigerator for 10 minutes before use.
  2. Add 1 cup whipping cream to chilled bowl.
  3. Begin to beat on medium high.
  4. Slowly add in powdered sugar and vanilla.
  5. Increase whipping speed to high once sugar is incorporated, to allow as much air as possible to whip cream.
  6. Cream is done when medium peaks form, be careful not to over whip.
