One of Doug’s favorite things to eat is fajitas. Before changing to our clean eating lifestyle I used to season my fajitas with a Lawry’s seasoning packet. Not any more and surprise Doug loves these more!
Serve with warm corn tortillas, sour cream, cheese, and avocado!
Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 2 organic red bell peppers, seeded and sliced
- 1 organic green bell pepper, seeded and sliced
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 1 small can diced green chilies
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp, red pepper powder
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chili verde salsa
Instructions
- Add 2 tbsp olive oil to large saute pan.
- Add peppers and onions and saute until tender.
- Remove veggies from pan and add chicken.
- Add all spices and green chilies and saute chicken until cooked through.
- Return cooked veggies to the pan and the 1 cup chili verde salsa.
- Stir well coating chicken and veggies with salsa.
- Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
